Subhash Bhamre pays tribute to slain Army trooper
Slain trooper had impressed everyone with his vigour, courage

Srinagar, Jun 09: Minister of State for Defence, Dr Subhash Bhamre Friday joined the Army at Badami Bagh Cantt, Srinagar in paying tributes to the slain Army trooper Rfn Tara Bahadur Roka who had attained martyrdom on Jun 08 in Nowgam Sector of Kashmir during a counter infiltration operation in which three militants were eliminated.
Lt Gen JS Sandhu, Chinar Corps Commander and all ranks paid homage to the martyr in a solemn ceremony, which was also attended by the officials from the other security agencies including the DGP, J&K.
The Minister saluted the slain trooper’s sacrifice and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
Born on Jan 01, 1994, the slain cop from Dang, Nepal with barely two years of service was a very motivated soldier had impressed one and all with his vigour, courage and devotion to duty.
The mortal remains of the trooper will be taken to Subathu in Himachal Pradesh for last rites with full military honours. (KNS)
