Srinagar, Jun 10: CPI (M) leader Muhammad Yusuf Tarigami Saturday said that he will oppose any negative move in All Party Meet conveyed by state government and won’t allow infringement of State’s special status.
“As our state is enjoying its own powers, our party (CPI M) won’t those powers to be infringed any side in any way. We will continue our effort to strengthen and protect the fiscal autonomy, which our state has been enjoyed,” Tarigami told KNS.
He said that anything, which erodes the fiscal autonomy, will be unacceptable to the party.
“We will listen to the government and will decide our response in consultation with the likeminded opposition parties, keeping in view the special powers, autonomous fiscal powers, which the state has been enjoying,” he said. (KNS)
