BANDIPORA,  16 June: Two civilians were injured after army allegedly opened fire on the car they were travelling on in Bandipora district of north Kashmir on Friday.

Reports said that the civilians were heading towards Ahem Sharif shrine for Friday prayers when they came under fire at a barricade erected by soldiers in Chek Reshipora village of the district.

Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital Bandipora for treatment where from they were shifted to SKIMS Soura for specialised treatment.

The condition of both the injured is stated to be stable.
