Expelled PDP youth leader asked to continue with party work
Srinagar, June 29: Days after People’s Democratic Party issued a press release informing the expulsion of youth leader Mehrajuddin Rather of Bandipora, the party on Thursday said that Mehrajuddin Rather has been asked to continue his work till probe into the allegations leveled against the youth leader is completed.
Mehrajuddin Rather along with his supports met Party General Secretary Sartaj Madni. The supporter of Rather defended him and termed all the allegations leveled against him as baseless and fabricated.
During the discussion, Sartaj Madni called the youth as the foundation stone of PDP and asked Mehrajuddin Rather to continue work in the interest of party.
Madni assured a thorough probe and said that party will take action against those who tried to malign the image of the youth leader. “Whosoever will be found guilty will face the music,” he said.
While thanking Sartaj Madni for giving a patient hearing, Mehrajuddin Rather expressed his full confidence Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Dr Haseeb Drabu, Molvi Imaran Raza Ansari, Nizamuddin Bhat Yasir Reshi. (CNS)
