Srinagar, Aug 4:  President Anjuman Sahri Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi has extended his good wishes to Muslim Umah on the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Ali (AS).

While addressing on Friday congregation, senior separatist leader and President Anjuman Sahri Shian Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi threw light on the life and teachings of Hazrat Imam Ali A.S and his contribution in Islam.

While condemning the killings of innocent people all around the world, particularly in Kashmir Valley, Aga Hasan urged upon the people to follow the paths of Hazrat Imam Ali SA and Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (SAW) to maintain peace and brotherhood in the world.

Hazrat Ali Bin Abi Talib AS, Prophet Mohammed’s cousin and son-in-law, was well known for his great knowledge, played a great role in spreading Islam. Prophet Mohammed Peace be upon him, described himself as the city of knowledge and that Imam Ali was its gate.

He said Imam Ali is respected for his courage, knowledge, belief, honesty, unbending devotion to Islam, deep loyalty to Prophet Muhammad, equal treatment of all Muslims and generosity in forgiving his defeated enemies.

He paid rich tributes to founder of Anjuman Sahri Shian Ayatullah Aga Yousuf Almosvi Alsafvi.

Castigating government for resorting to arrests, raids, killings, house arrests, ransacking, curfew and restrictions, Aga Hasan appealed human rights organizations to take note of Indian brutalities in Kashmir.

He said it has become a routine for Indian troopers to shot dead civilians in every nook and cranny of Kashmir.

Calling forces action as ruthless, Aga Hasan expressed his resentment over the civilian killings and said that it is absolute state terrorism.

“After routine combat and encounters between armed youth, forces in retaliation target civilians and ransack properties. It is unjustified and such retributions tantamount to war crimes,” said Aga Hasan. CNS
