Rajouri, Aug 5: In order to provide an impetus to employment generation in the region, Rashtriya Rifles at Kalakote conducted a basic computer course for the students of Kalakote and adjoining area of Rajouri District. The training was conducted during the past three weeks under the flagship Op Sadhbhavana.
According to an Army statement, a total of 12 students of Kalakote and adjoining areas attended the training which would enhance their functional knowledge of computer as well as provide them an initiative to further open employment avenues in the field of progress in the information technology. The training course aims at increasing awareness of Information Technology among students with an effort to bring them at par with their counterparts in other parts of the country. The training curriculum included basics of computer operation, MS Office and safe surfing practices on the Internet.
Army authorities said that the course is a step in bringing a positive change in the education methodology and will boost the efforts of the Government towards the ‘Skill India’ mission. The local populace of village Kalakote thanked the Army for earnest efforts in promoting the education of students and bringing development in the region. (CNS)
