Book authored by SSP released in Srinagar

Srinagar, August 21:  L. Mohanti IPS Addl. DGP Armed J&K joined by S.A Watali IPS IGP Armed/ IR Jammu, S.Ahfadul Mujtaba IPS IGP Armed/ IR Kashmir and other Senior Officers Monday released the book titled “Procedural Lapses/ Ambiguities Vis-à-vis Prosecution/ Acquittals” authored by Shri M.Y Kichloo KPS, SSP presently posted as Staff Officer to ADGP Armed J&K Mubarak Ganie IPS IGP Railway, Commandants of Kashmir based AP/ IRP Bns and Officers/ officials of Armed Police Headquarter were also present on the occasion.

While releasing the book, L.Mohanti lauded the efforts of M.Y Kichloo put by him in accomplishment of the book. He said that the book is very informative and beneficial for Police Officers preferably investigators. The ADGP said the book is a comprehensive collection and compilation of procedural Laws and would immensely help in guiding investigating officers to carry out the investigation of offences pertaining to bovine smuggling, violation of forest Act-1987, J&K Wild life protection Act-1978, Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act, NDPS Act, Offences of Rape, Offence committed by Juvenile and cruelty against Women etc. The ADGP said that the author really deserves appreciation for this valuable compilation.

The author of the afore mentioned book M.Y Kichloo SSP has the distinction of authoring a book on Cyber Crime. SSP M.Y Kichloois the first to introduce the concept of Cyber Crime in J&K Police. His research paper entitled jurisdiction-An issue in E-Commerce was published in International Journal of “Emerging Science and Engineering” (IJESE) by the board of “Blue Eyes Intelligence Engineering and Sciences Publications Private Ltd.”. The officer has been honoured with FICCI Smart Policing Award 2017 for his best initiatives in Cyber Crime and Cyber Security under Cyber Crime category. Shri Kichloo was selected for the prestigious FICCI Smart Policing Award 2017 out of 133 elite officers of various State Police Forces and Central Armed Police Forces from across the Country. The said award is valued and appreciated by both Government and Industry in India as well as overseas.On the conclusion of release ceremony of the book, Senior Officers/ officials present on the occasion congratulated M.Y Kichloo for authoring this valuable book.
