Srinagar, Aug 01: An encounter started at Hakdipora area of Newa in Pulwama district of South Kashmir on Tuesday morning.
Official sources told GNS that army and SOG cordoned off Hakdipora village following specific information about the presence of some militants.
As such the joint team of forces intensified the combing operation, the militant tried to break the cordon opened fire triggering of an encounter.
Three LeT militants including Top commander Abu Dujana believed to be trapped.
Meanwhile authorities block 3G/4G mobile internet services in Kashmir valley. (GNS)
