Terms his demise as painful


Srinagar, Aug 07: Expressing grief over the demise of Ghulam Muhammad Shaad, Hizbul-Mujahideen on Monday termed his death as painful.
In an e-mailed statement to KNS, Hizb spokesman Saleem Hashmi while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying “Shaad was a great poet, teacher and intellectual. His students will carry forward his teachings.”
He said that Shadd was a freedom loving person whose family was targeted several times.
Hizb chief prayed for the heavenly abode of Shaad and also prayed for the patience of the bereaved family. (KNS)
