Hurriyat (M) Paying rich tributes to slain militants of Tral
Srinagar, Aug 09: APHC has strongly condemned firing upon protestors in Gulab Bagh Tral by the government forces in which a 16 year old student Mohammad Younus Sheikh was martyred and several others critically injured. The APHC spokesman has termed the action of forces doctorial and aggressive.
Paying rich tributes to Shaheed Mohammad Younus Sheikh and the three armed youth, martyred during a forces operation at Gulab Bagh Tral, Shaheed Zahid, Shaheed Bhat Ashfaq Ahmad, Shaheed Mohammad Ashraf Dar the spokesman said use of military might is the only way Government chooses to deal with the sentiment and political aspirations of people of Kashmir. Aphc said our youth have been pushed to the wall to resist occupation and are getting martyred in their quest for justice and resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
Aphc said that people of Kashmir are being pressurized and squeezed from all sides. While young Kashmiri boys are killed almost each days scores of them are arbitrarily arrested and put in jails where they languish for months and years on end while many are send to jails outside the valley and face severe weather conditions.
The Spokesman strongly condemned the harassment of kashmiris by the Government of India through the NIA and the falsehoods being deliberately spread by the NIA through the Indian media among the Indian masses. Spokesman said that issuing notices and questioning family members of resistance leadership to intimidate and harass them is highhandedness of the worst kind by the Government. Spokesman said that targeting and trying to somehow implicate even an honest and decent police officer Mr. Faheem Ali who was simply performing his duty assigned to him by his department, shows the desperation of the government to defame leadership and the level they can go to.
Spokesman said such tactics to persecute leadership and defame them through falsehood and harass those associated with them will not yield anything. Spokesman said the people’s struggle for their birthright for which every Kashmiri is striving and suffering will continue till the resolution of the issue.
