Hurriyat (M) strongly condemning the reign of terror unleashed by the forces across Kashmir and the stubborn approach adopted by the New Delhi

Srinagar, Aug 03: APHC spokesman while strongly condemning the reign of terror unleashed by the forces across Kashmir and the stubborn approach adopted by the New Delhi stated that it was an irony that a human and political issue is being dealt on the basis of military might while ignoring the exact reality of the issue.
The spokesman said that military-might may cause hurdles in achieving the final goal but can’t suppress the genuine sentiment in Kashmir. He said Kashmir dispute is a reality which GOI should accept and steps should be taken for its resolution so that peace prevails in the trouble ravaged region.
Paying tributes to two armed youth killed in Gopalpora Kulgam, Aqib Itoo and Suhail Ahmed, the spokesman said that Kashmiri nation is fighting for a genuine cause and youth are spilling their blood for the sacred cause.
He said it is because of the iron fist policy of the government that the Kashmiri youth are picking up arms as a means of resistance. The spokesman said that it is because of the New Delhi’s anti Kashmir policy that Kashmiri youth are left with no option other than to take to armed struggle. He said the Kashmir issue is consuming human lives, be it those of civilians or armed youth or government forces which has given rise to a tragic situation which needs to be addressed seriously. The spokesman said that Kashmir dispute continues to linger on since past seven decades and no military step has proved successful to resolve it so far which clearly indicates that the issue needs a political settlement.
The spokesman also termed the continuous house detention of APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Dr. Molvi Mohammad Umar Farooq as a pure political vendetta by the ruling regime, adding that by caging the resistance leadership in their homes and police stations, the situation will further deteriorate.
