Ansari throws light on life and teachings of Hazrat Ali
Srinagar, Aug 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association (JKSA) today organized an annual convention (Majlis-e-Assad) at the historic Imam Bara Zadibal Srinagar, in which thousands of devotees from different parts of valley participated.
Minister for Information technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports Imran Raza Ansari who is also the President of The Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association (JKSA), led the convention and gave an hour long lecture on the occasion in which he paid tribute and retell the deeds of martyrs of Karbala.
The Minister also threw light on life and teachings of Hazrat Ali (r.a) and asked people to follow the path and teachings of Islam, besides he said that the martyrs of karbala have set an example before us through their deeds, which will remain till the last day of this world.
Moreover, he prayed for the whole Muslim Ummah for their religious peace, unity and integrity.
The Majlis started with recitation of holy Quran, followed by Marsia by prominent Zakirs.
Later a procession was also carried out from Imam Bara in which huge gathering participated. (KNS)
