MLA Bhaderwah and Army Jawans celebrate Raksha Bandhan in Gandoh

Gandoh, Aug07: MLA Bhaderwah Daleep singh Parihar,Army Jawans and locals of Sub-division Gandoh celebrated Raksha Bandhan festival in kalguni Mendhar in Sub-division Gandoh, today.

Locals,RSS,BJP Bhaleesa in collaborationwith Indian Army organized a colourful programme on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan in kalguni Mendhar Gwari in Sub-division Gandoh where hundred of Army jawans,SSB jawans and school students participated.

On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan,BJP MLA Bhaderwah Daleep singh Parihar was chief guest and SDPO Gandoh Sunny Gupta was the guest of honour.Major 4RR,SHO Gandoh Tahir Yousif Khan,Mukesh Kumar RSS worker Doda,Balvent singh,Mahinder singh BJP Gandoh
President,BJP Mahila Morcha president Suniya Row other officers and jawans were also present.

The young girls and  students prayed for the long life and safety of the army brothers who remain dedicated to the service of the nation. Balvent singh appreciated the Indian soldiers for their great contribution in safe guarding the nation with their sweat and blood.

During interaction with Army persons, the girls wished them health and happiness and also prayed for their success in their mission to protect the Mother land.

“These 4RR and SSB personnel are away from their families and just like our brothers they are guarding us so we came here to express our feelings to them by tying Rakhis,” Suniya said.
The security personnel expressed happiness at the women’s gesture.
“We are happy that our sisters from various parts of Jammu came to tie Rakhis. Even as we are far away from our families these sisters from Jammu did the needful by tying Rakhis,” a SSB official said.
