‘Another young man has perished in another incident of senseless violence’


Srinagar, Aug 01: National Conference (NC) Tuesday condemned the killing of a civilian, Firdous Ahmad Khan of Begumbagh Kakapora and also expressed grief over the civilian injuries following an encounter in the area.
Expressing grief and sorrow over the loss of one more young life, National Conference Provincial Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar in a statement extended heartfelt condolences to Khan family.
“Another young man has perished in another incident of senseless violence. Violence has consumed an entire generation in the Valley and continues to devour our young. NC has always espoused the path of dialogue and believes that it’s the only way forward in resolving the vexed issue of Kashmir. We reiterate our commitment to work towards resolving the political issue in Jammu and Kashmir and create an atmosphere of peace, justice and tranquility,” the NC Spokesperson said in a statement to KNS.
