Srinagar, Aug 27: Authorities have decided to close all educational institutions as “preventive measure” in Kupwara district of north Kashmir on Monday.
“Class work in all the educational institutions in district Kupwara shall remain suspended for tomorrow ( 28/08/2017) in view of preventive measures,” said Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Khalid Jahangir in a statement issued to GNS.
However, he said, staff members shall attend their respective institutions. The schools in district have remained closed since August 24 following the killing of youth from Handwara alleged in fake encounter. (GNS)
