Scores of workers, leaders of different parties joined BJP in Kalakote

Kohli welcomes newly workers in the BJP

Srinagar, Aug 22: In a significant development scores of National Conference and Congress Party workers of Kalakote and its adjacent areas have joined BJP today.
MLA Kalakote and Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Abdul Gani Kohli welcomed the newly workers in the BJP at a simple but impressive functions held at Teryath and Duggal Hall in Kalakote constituency of Rajouri distirct.
The workers who joned the BJP include Rikhi Sharma, Mansa Ram, Kundan Lal, Ashok Sharma, Chaman Lal, Surrinder Kumar, Molvi Fareed Muhammad Shafi, Juginder Kumar and Kamal Singh of Teryath and Khabbar, Joginder Singh, Jameet Singh, Shatter Singh, Bhagat Singh, Dilip Singh, Pubjab Sing, Parabhat Singh, Chatter Singh, Kashmir Singh, Dev Singh, Paras Ram, Chain Singh, Rashpaul Singh, Jameer Singh, Kamal Singh, Dilip Singh, Preetam Singh, Angreez Singh, and Satyal Singh of Duggal Hall, Muhammad Shabir of Songhari, Ved Parkash, Bhagwan Dass, Romesh Paul, Romesh Charder, Chaman Lal, Bhola Nath, Subash Chander and Sukh Ram of Upper Treru Duggal Hall, Jagdish Raj, Rattan Lal, Mohan Lal, Yashpaul, Chander Mohan, Deeraj Kumar, Chotu Ram, Kistori Lal, Darbari Lal, Manzoor Hussain and Sadiq Hussain of Sonnar Gala Marwa Barwari, Joginder Paul, Surjeet Kumar, Bashir Ahmad, Babu Khan, Rakesh Kumar, Subash Chander, Tilak Raj, Teja Singh and Chowkidar Bawan Dass of Marwa Barwari.
Speaking on the occasion Kohli said that leaving the National Conference and Congress Parties received a serious jolt when hundreds of local active workers left the parties at a time and joined the BJP. He said while the NC and Congress parties have almost finished in the Kalakote and its adjacent areas, the local unit of the BJP will be strengthened by encouraging to the newly workers.
The workers headed by Shri Rikhi Sharma of National Conference and Chaman Lal from Khaber Teryath said that the NC and Congress leadership have sidelined them and there were no role of the workers at grass root level in the development. They said that the workers are impressed with the policies and programmes of the BJP especially the local leadership of the BJP who leaves no stone unturned in the development and prosperity of Kalakote Constituency.
The workers praised to Kohli for paving way in joining the BJP and said they will work under his guidance for strengthening the party. (KNS)
