Three army men injured near LoC in Uri

Baramulla, Aug 13: Three army men were injured after Indo-Pak armies exchange gunfire on Sunday at Uri sector of Baramulla district in north Kashmir.

Official sources told GNS that Pakistani troops targeted Indian posts of 20 Sikh regiment along LoC at Baaz area in Uri at 1600 hours.
“The fire was retaliated and continued intermittently for about an hour”, they said.
During the clash, three soldiers sustained injuries and have been airlifted to military hospital Badamibagh, Srinagar for treatment.
The injured soldiers were identified as Sepoy Balvinder Singh, Sepoy Kulwinder Singh and Sepoy Gurujan Singh. (GNS)
