Kupwara, Sep 4: Locals are panicked as fire emanates on a wooden electricity pole inside a field with standing crop at Maidanpora in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports reaching news agency GNS said that the fire started, possibly due to an electric short circuit, few minutes ago (when this report was filed) and people fear damages to their standing crops if it was not extinguished soon. They urged concerned PDD officials to visit the place and control the fire by taking required care. (GNS)
