Srinagar, Sep 10: All Parties Hurriyat Conference strongly condemned the continuous imposition of curfew and restrictions in downtown and some areas of Srinagar since past three days, converting the entire region into a military fortress and caging lakhs of people in their own homes causing them great distress and hardships and terming it as ultimate form of State highhandedness .APHC also castigated the government for arbitrary and illegal confinement of its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, senior resistance leader Syed Ali Geelani in their own homes while detaining Muhammad Yasin Malik at central jail stating that such moves defy all claims to democracy and are simply revengeful.
