India facing tough time in Kashmir: Lashkar

Srinagar, Sep 29 : Strongly reacting against the statement of Victor Force’s chief Major Gen B S Rajiv in which he said Kashmiris must stop thinking about freedom, the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shah on Friday said New Delhi “must stop dreaming about continuing its occupation in Jammu Kashmir”.

A spokesperson of the outfit Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to news agency GNS quoted LeT chief Mehmood Shah as saying that “even the senior generals in Indian Army are of the opinion that military solution to Kashmir has miserably failed”

“India is facing a tough time with its sovereignty on stake. The country must bear in mind that the day Kashmir wins freedom; India won’t bear this loss and will divide. New Delhi is fully aware of these consequences.”

The spokesperson said the militants and people (in Kashmir) are on the same page. “It is the truth that always prevails. We’re destined to emerge victorious,” he said while quoting Shah. (GNS)
