Anantnag, Sep 08: The Chairman of Ummat e Islami, Mirwaiz Qazi Ahmed Yasir today thanked the Bangladesh for allowing more than 1,60,000 Rohingya Muslims into its territory. While condemning the atrocities against the community, Mirwaiz said, the crisis are taking a grieving toll on human life.We do not demand justice from those who awarded The murderous President with a Nobel prize, but we ask the Muslim countries to rehabilitate the Rohingya Muslims. Mirwaiz said Muslims worldwide should stop paying heed to political conspiracies hatched on the blood of these innocents. He asked the Muslims of the world to standby the community in times of need.
Mirwaiz condemned the arrest of Kamran Yusuf, a photojournalist and said his arrest is an open war against Freedom of Speech. “Kamran has been reaching the funeral of militants first, which is no crime,” Mirwaiz Yasir said. He said the photojournalist should be released. Such meaningless arrests and provocative detentions cannot silence the voices of Kashmiris, Mirwaiz Yasir said. He said there is duty upon Journalists to unite against the arrest of Kamran.
Mirwaiz Yasir demanded the release of all political prisoners including Sarjan arkati, Sajad Hashi and others.
