Tral, Sep 25: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama G.M.Dar Monday visited the two bereaved families of Tral town who lost their beloved ones in a grenade attack a few days back.
Pinky Kour, a resident of Chattargam Tral and Ghulam Nabi Trag of Tral-e-Payeen had lost life in a grenade attack during the visit of Works Minister in the town.
The District Magistrate who was flanked by a team of officials including ADC’s Tral and Awantipora and Civil Society Tral assured victim families of ex-gratia relief. The District Magistrate Pulwama interacted with the family members of Pinky Kour.
The Sikh community expressed satisfaction over the visit of District Magistrate and raised public issues with him.
District Magistrate G.M. Dar assured them that the work on cremation ground damaged after 2014 floods will be started soon and Sumo service will also be started without any delay. (CNS)
