Hopes that statement of Home Minister has now clear the dust on issue of Article 35-A
Srinagar, Sep 11: MLA, Rafiabad Yawar Dilawar Mir has welcomed the statement of Home Minister Rajnath Sing that ‘Government will not go against the sentiments of Kashmiri people on Article 35-A issue.
In a statement issued to KNS, Yawar said that the views expressed by the Home Minister on Article 35-A in the press conference in Srinagar today, on the conclusion of his 3 days tour to the valley, are apt and timely as some political and social organisations had created doubts and misgivings on the issue in the minds of people. He hoped that that statement of the Home Minister has now clear the dust on the issue of Article 35-A and there was no reason to for any apprehensions in this regard. Now the people of the valley especially youth should return to their normal business and endeavour to shape their future and destiny.
Yawar has also hailed the announcement of Home Minister that under age detenues would not be treated as criminals but shall be sent to juvenile homes to rehabilitate them. (KNS)
