With the arrival of billionaire Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio, incumbent operators have ramped up offers to woo and retain customers. Leading telecom service providers have been rolling out data and voice plans aggressively to counter the disruptive price effects of Jio. Bharti Airtel, the country’s largest telecom service provider, is now offering 3GBs of 3G/4G data per day for Rs. 799. Besides this, customers will also get unlimited local and STD calls. The plan, which is valid for a period of 28 days, is only for prepaid users.
