Anantnag, Oct 17: Today at about 09:00 hour’s police Post sangam received a written complaint from one lady (name with held) stating that her daughter has been kidnapped by one person (name with held).
On this information police post Sangam lodged a report and investigation under the supervision of SSP Anantnag shri Altaf Ahmad Khan was set into motion.
During the course of investigation various raids were conducted at various places, and on various places Nakas were established headed by Division officer Sangam. After strenuous efforts of Anantnag police, the girl recovered from the possession of accused at Khanabal crossing at about 12:30 hour’s .
After completion of all legal formalities the girl handed over to her family members. And a case FIR NO 175/2017 u/s 363,109 Rpc has been registered in police station bijbehara and further investigation is going on.
The dedicated work done by Anantnag police has been hailed and appreciated by the general public of the area .
