Expresses heartfelt grief over demise of daughter of Late Ab Gani Lone

Srinagar, Oct 24: Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani strongly condemned the arrest of Shahid Yusuf, son of Hizb supremo Syed Salahuddin, by NIA and added that India while resorting to highhandedness is desperate to cow down spirits of pro-freedom leadership.
Syed Salahuddin is a forerunner and a prominent figure in freedom movement, said Geelani saying he has dedicated his whole life for ongoing freedom movement.
India despite all its coercive and arbitrary measures to cow down his spirits, failed, said Geelani and added that it is their vain attempt to break and weaken his commitment with movement, said Geelani and added that these cowardice and suppressive measures won’t dampen the passion and commitment of Pro-freedom leadership.
Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani expressed his heartfelt grief over the demise of daughter of Late Ab Gani Lone. Geelani said we had cordial and affectionate relations and added that it is a personnel loss for me. Geelani prayed for her heavenly aboard and forbiddance to family to bear this loss.
Hurriyat (G) Spokesman strongly condemned the forces action and vandalising properties in Wagud Tral saying the forces are following the aggressive policies of their masters
The forces personnel barged into the residential houses, thrashed elderly women including innocent kids to pulp, added spokesman.
Spokesman said that this is a deliberate attempt to harass people and make them scare and added however they should know that since 1947 we are facing such situation and these cruelties won’t deter us from our mission.
The spokesman on behalf of Syed Ali Geelani while expressing his sympathies with victims of violence, impressed to repose faith in almighty Allah, as He is the only guardian and added that with His grace we will emerge as victorious.
Spokesman strongly condemned continuous house arrest of Syed Ali Geelani, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Mohammad Ashraf Laya, spokesman Gh Ahmad Gulzar and Mohammad Yusuf Mir and said that these measures won’t break our resolve.
Spokesman decrying over detention of GH Mohammad Khan Sopori on fictitious charges and slapping one more PSA, said that elderly leader is suffering from multiple ailments.
Spokesman strongly condemned the authorities for booking elderly Jamat-e-Islami leader, Sheikh Mohammad Yusuf and slapping 4th PSA in a row, saying it is extreme barbaric, illogical and unethical. (KNS)
