Grenade hurled at PDP MLA’s residence in Tral

Tral, Oct 20: Unknown persons on Friday evening lobbed a grenade at the residence of a ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) MLA in South Kashmir’s Tral sub district, police said.

According to police, the grenade was hurled at the house of Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, in his resisdence Mokdam Mohalla area of Tral Sub district.

Soon after the attack, security guards present there retaliated with some gunshots in air.

However, there was no damage done due to the explosion.

“It was a mysterious blast. The MLA was not present in the house at the time of the blast but his other members were there ,” a police official said.
