HP world outlet re-launched

Rana for focused attention towards employment, employability

Jammu, Oct 15: Provincial President National Conference, Devender Singh Rana on Sunday called for generating employment and ensuring employability, saying tackling these twin challenges alone can steer Jammu and Kashmir out of the burgeoning problem of unemployment.
“The government has to be innovative and receptive to the latest trends of job market and design programmes accordingly to offset the challenge of unemployment”, Rana said while re-launching HP World Infotek at New Rehari, behind Shakuntala Theatre Jammu this morning.
The relaunch of the Jammu’s oldest HP World Outlet was performed in the presence of its owner Sanjay Gupta, and Neeraj Anand, President of Chamber of Traders Federation Jammu besides battery of dignitaries.
Rana hoped that the government would go extra mile in meeting the twin challenges by generating employment for the youth as well as make them employable.
“For this purpose, it is imperative to make available the required skill set to the youth so that they are employed and can earn their dignified living”, the Provincial President said and lauded the young entrepreneur, who is a self-employee, for imparting training to the youth and preparing them for the future to make them employable by providing them skill set through the medium of computer technology.
Rana appreciated the role of HP Infotek in expanding its operations across Jammu and Kashmir by providing quality sales and service to its customers.
‘HP Infotek has history of bringing latest technologies in the state. It is one of the oldest outlets of HP World in Jammu and has been doing very well to cater to the growing demands in the field of electronic” said Rana, adding that HP World Infotek is not only a name but a trade mark in the field of electronics in Jammu.
Giving details about the re-launched outlet, owner of the HP world Infotek, Sanjay Gupta said that for him this is much more than just a business enterprise.
“I registered this firm in 1996 with an aim to venture in electronic and computer accessories, but eventually it became part of my life as people started appreciating my services”. Sanjay said and added that in 1999, Infotek became first firm to get franchise of HP World in Jammu.
He recalled that in 2006, this outlet was inaugurated by Devender Singh Rana and today he re-inaugurated it again.
“Having Devender Singh Rana for the inauguration of an outlet twice means a lot, I am thankful to him for sparing time”, said Gupta adding that this advanced Infotek outlet is one of the biggest HP World outlets in Jammu and Kashmir. (KNS)
