Special arrangements made for families who can avail special discounts

Srinagar, Oct 12: Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) is organizing three day traditional Kashmir food and cultural festival in Pahalgam from Thursday.
“We are organising food and cultural festival to attract tourists as well as locals to Pahalgam. Besides traditional Kashmiri food, we will also promote local arts and crafts of Pahalgam,” said JKTDC VC Rafi Ahmad Mir.
JKTDC has tied up with hotel and restaurant association Pahalgam to make the program successful. “We will be setting up exclusive stall for different varieties of trout in Pahalgam,” he said.
He said a cultural evening will also be organized in which noted singer Rashid Jehangir and local artists will showcase their talent.
“Special arrangements have been made for families who can avail special discounts during their stay at JKTDC accommodations in Pahalgam during the festival,” he said. present on the occasion were MD JKTDC Sarmed Hafiez, GM JKTDC Shabnum Kamili, director tourism, officers from different DEPTTS, members of hotel and restaurant associations and people from media.
