Justice Bawa Singh gets full court reference on his farewell from JK High Court

Praises Judicial, administrative and e-Court initiatives of JK High Court


SRINAGAR, OCT 6: Justice Bawa Singh Walia today got full court reference on his farewell from J&K High Court and subsequent transfer to Punjab and Haryana High Court.

The farewell function took place in the Chief Justice’s Court at Srinagar Wing of the High Court in the presence of Chief Justice High Court of Jammu & Kashmir, Badar Durrez Ahmed and J&K High Court Judges.

Bashir Ahmad Dar, Sr. Addl. Advocate General appreciated Judicial work of Justice Walia and his deep commitment to the cause of justice.

During his farewell speech, Justice Walia appreciated the commitment and dedication of members of Jammu and Kashmir Bar and their able assistance to the bench.

“The bench and Bar of Jammu and Kashmir will remain as an integral part of my life,” Justice Walia in his response to the reference stated in his address.

Justice Walia also praised Chief Justice and Judges of the High Court, Officers of the Registry, Judicial Officers of the State and his personal staff of High Court for their dedication and commitment.

He stated that it was a great opportunity for him to work with the Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir High Court.

“The innovative measures taken with regards to Judicial, administrative and e-Courts Governance of J&K High Court deserve full appreciation,” he said while thanking everyone present in the Full Court Reference.
