Three siblings injured in Poonch border firing

Poonch, Oct 14: Three siblings were injured in alleged shelling by Pakistan in Balakote sector of Poonch district in Jammu region on Saturday evening.
A police officer told news agency GNS that the shelling from the Pakistani side started late today evening near Sandote border village in Balakote. He said three siblings, two of them girls, were injured in the shelling and they were shifted to nearby Dhargloon hospital where from a critically injured girl Tahira Naseeb (16), a class 11 student was referred to Government Medical College Jammu for specialised treatment. However, her condition is said to be critical
The other two injured were referred to Mendhar hospital and have been identified as Rafia Naseeb (8) and Tariq Naseeb (14) children of Mohd Naseeb– residents of Khanetter village of Dhargloon. They were hurt when a motor shell landed near their house.
When this report was filed the intermittent firing was going in the area causing panic to the locals. (GNS)
