Appeals CM to fulfil their demands
Srinagar, Oct 17: The Unemployed Physical Education Union JK Tuesday protested against the government for failing to implement Rehber-e-Khel scheme announced by the government.
The association members assembled outside the KNS office at Kulgam and chanted slogans in favour of their demands.
The union demanded Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to implement the Rehber-e-Khel.
According to KNS correspondent, Zahoor Andrabi, the union members said the government last year assured the unemployed youth that Rehber-e-Khel scheme will be implemented in which the unemployed youth will be provided jobs as well. “We are the deserving candidates and had applied for the posts as well but unfortunately, the scheme was not implemented so far,” they said.
The protesters said that the most of them have crossed the age limit but the government is ignoring their plights. “We appeal the government headed by Mehbooba Mufti to implement the scheme at the so that the unemployed youth could feel a sigh of relief,” they said. (KNS)
