Zulfkar greets people on Diwali

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 18: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) and Information Department Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali today extended warm greetings to the people on Diwali, the festival of lights. The Minister hoped the auspicious occasion would bring peace, progress and prosperity in the State.

In his greeting message, Zulfkar Ali said the festival symbolizes the triumph of truth and righteousness over falsehood and of good over evil. He said the festival highlights ethos and high values of the country’s civilization history.

Praying for the well being of the people of the State, the Minister hoped the festival would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood, amity, tranquility and secularism in the State.

Meanwhile, Director Information & Public Relations, Muneer-ul-Islam has extended Diwali greetings to the media fraternity in the State.
