Army vehicle rolled down on Srinagar-Jammu highway, 13 injured

Srinagar, Nov 8: At least thirteen army men were injured in a mishap at Banihal on Srinagar-Jammu highway on Wednesday late afternoon.

A police officer said that an army vehicle (Casper) of 12 RR skidded off the road and rolled down in to a george at under construction four-lane bridge at Rattan Bass Banihal.

In the incident at least thirteen armymen suffered injuries and have beenevacuated to near by hospital for treatment, he said, adding that scores of labourers working on the highway had a narrow escape when the vehicle rolled down close to them.

Five soldiers are said to have receives critical injuries and have been shifted to military hospital for specialised treatment, he said.
