More cultural activities will be held in future: Suptt jail

Mattan, Nov 26: In order to promote spirit of love and humanity among detenues in district jail Anantnag, the cricket tourney organised by the jail authorities on the directions of DG prisons concluded on Sunday.
The final match of the tourney was held today in the lawns of jail.

Detenues facing trials participated in the tournament and exhibited a discipline to show their talents.
Superintendent jail, Shabaz Hussain appreciated all players taking part in the extra-curricular activities.
He said DG prisons, S. K. Mishra happens to be their role model and it is his directions to promote sports culture among all under trials.

He also praised DIG jail, Mohd sultan for boosting the moral of all officials.
The prizes were also distributed among winners and runners up teams.
On the occasion, under trial detenues, Media persons and other jail authorities were present and role of Superintendent Jail was lauded by the detenues. (KNS)
