BARAMULLA, NOV 18: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan today chaired a meeting here to review the implementation of Chief Minister’s commitments made by her during a public darbar held last month.
District Development commissioner Dr. Nasir Ahmad Naqash, SSP Mir Imtiyaz Hussain, ADDC, Additional Deputy Commissioners of Baramulla and Sopore, JDP, engineers of line departments, SDMs, various district and sectoral officers were present on the occasion.
A threadbare discussion was held with respect to the demands, pertaining to various sectors including PHE, PDD, health, education, R&B, made by the various deputations of the district during the durbar.
Emphasizing upon the officers to work with extra zeal and enthusiasm, Div Com directed the concerned for early initiation of detailed project reports (DPRs) and other necessary formalities so that all the undertaken works are completed within stipulated time frame. Reiterating the commitment for timely disposing of the public grievances, Div Com said that necessary measures are to being taken so as to comply with the directions of Chief Minister.
Stressing upon ensuring the availability of essentials especially in winter season, the Divisional Commissioner directed all the district officers not to leave headquarter without the prior permission of the Deputy Commissioner, adding that the move will help to address the public grievances.
Meanwhile, the Divisional Commissioner was appraised with various issues, wherein he assured that all the issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities so as to foster the mission of progress and development.
Earlier the DDC presented the status of various undertaken works through the power point presentation.
