IGP says they are in touch with footballer’s family in South Kashmir

 Srinagar: Reacting over the surrender reports about ace footballer turned militant in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone Mr Munir Khan said that there are no such reports but he added that they are in touch with the family of the footballer.

A section of media reported that Majid Khan of Southern Anantnag district who recently joined militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba has surrendered before Government Forces, a report officially not confirmed.

“Abhi aisi koyi report nahi hai, but we are in touch with family, jab ladka aa jayega, we will let you know.”
