Will not sabotage dialogue process but encourage it: G H Mir
Srinagar, Nov 08: Former minister and DPN president Ghulam Hassan Mir today said that the role of the CPI (M) State Secretary MY Tarigami, PDF Chairman Hakeem Yasin and himself will not be to sabotage the dialogue process being carried by the centre’s representative, Dineshwar Sharma.
“We will encourage the dialogue process, not sabotage it,” Mir told KNS here after meeting Sharma at the residence of CPI (M) State Secretary MY Tarigami.
Sharma called on Tarigami, PDF Chairman Hakeem Yasin and Mir at the residence of Tarigami at Gupkar here Wednesday afternoon.
The three leaders addressed a press conference after meeting the Sharma and said that Government of India is not doing any favour to the people of the state but the whole country by announcing dialogue process.
Sharma has been camping in Kashmir from November 6 to meet different delegations and mainstream political parties for the dialogue process. He will leave for Jammu tomorrow where he will meet different people for two days. Hurriyat leaders and major trade bodies stayed away from meeting him. (KNS)
