‘Let’s Play sees huge response’


Registration extends till Nov 15: Dir Sports

Srinagar, Nov 05: “The last date to register online for taking part in the mega football tourney, Let’s Play has been extended till November 15th”. This was disclosed by Director Youth Services and Sports J&K Shiekh Fayaz Ahmed.
In a statement issued to KNS, it was stated that the process of registration for the same had begun a few weeks ago and we had set deadline of 6th November for the process of online registration but since the registration for this tournament is witnessing a huge response from Youth both students and non-students, we have decided to extend it for few more days.

“A fully dedicated online portal www.letusplayjk.com has been created to facilitate the process of registration online and two control rooms, one each at Srinagar and Jammu, have been established to provide the assistance and required help to the interested youth. The District Youth Services and Sports Officers of all the 22 districts of the state have been authorised to register the interested students and non students online, “Director YS&S added further.

“For the smooth conduct of the Football tourney and for obtaining any information pertaining to the same control rooms have been equipped with all the important facilities and one can reach the same by calling on the numbers 01942310301 (Srinagar), 01912544089 (Jammu), 7006281186 (WhatsApp). The interested youth can also enquire about Let’s Play by emailing us onletusplayjk2017@gmail.com”, Fayaz added.

Let’s Play’ is being conducted under Khelo India and was awarded by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports to the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K. The Championship was kicked off by Minister for IT/TE and Youth Services and Sports, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari at TRC Astroturf Ground recently. (KNS)
