Bandipora, Nov 26:  The house of notorious slain government gunman Kuka Parrey in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district was attacked by a group of suspected militants during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
Two issues of Kuka Parrey reside in the Hajin based house. Imtiyaz Parrey is affiliated with Congress party while Khurshid Parrey is apolitical.
Khurshid Parrey told Kashmir News Trust that a group of at least 7 to 8 armed militants emerged at around 2 am in the dead of night. 
He said they first fired a rifle grenade on the house that hit barbed wire and then resorted to indiscriminate firing.
The house of Kuka Parrey is guarded by Para military Centreal Reserve Police Force.
” CRPF retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for more than 15 minutes,” Khurshid Parrey said adding that militants chanted pro freedom slogans before leaving the area.
