Anantnag, Nov 12: A Seminar Titled, “Issues to Ummah and Their Solutions” was held today in Islamic Research Institute in Islamabad South Kashmir.

The Seminar chaired by Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir was attended by various scholars including Professor Hameed Nayeemi, Engineer Umar Attari, Dr. Nisar Ahmed Mubarki and Irshad Ahmed Attari.

The speakers shed light on the issues faced by the Muslim Public globally and said that the best way to resolve the issues to avoid infighting between various schools of thought.

Mirwaiz Qazi Ahmed Yasir in his speech said the primary issue the Muslims worldwide face is that they are scattered in groups. He said there is a dire need for Muslims worldwide to unite and gather under a single banner. “This stage I use is not a blessing, but it is a responsibility. Everyone who preaches on this stage should know that this stage is not a Blessing, but a responsibility which one has to take care of,” Mirwaiz Yasir said.

Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir said that all the schools of thought should unite for a common minimum programme to eliminate the differences that have arisen in Ummah.

Professor Hameed Nayeemi in his speech laid emphasis on the unity as the need of the hour.

Engineer Umar Attari also said that the Ummah needs unity.

Dr. Mubarki and Irshad Attari also highlighted the importance of unity among Kashmiri Muslims.

The Seminar was organized by Islamic Research Institute and hundreds of people participated in it.
