New Royal Traders beat Saudi Fighters in ongoing Shaheed-e-Miltat T20 Cricket Tournament

Srinagar, Nov 29: In the ongoing Shaheed-e-Miltat T20 Cricket Tournament New Royal Traders beat Saudi Fighters on Wednesday amid huge rush of Cricket fans at Islamia College Hawal Srinagar.

Batting first after winning the toss New Royal Traders with the contribution of Danish Ahmad’s 47 runs in 38 balls and Asrar Ahmad’s 38 runs in 23 balls set a target of 172 for Saudi Fighters. Adil and Asif of Saudi Fighters took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.

Chasing the target, Saudi Fighters had a bad start, however, camped at pitch Waseem Ahmad managed to hit a half century while defending the bowling attack of New Royal Traders. The Saudi Fighters batting line up fell short just 11 runs before to achieve the target.

Irfan Ahmad of New Royal Traders who took 4 wickets and contributed 23 runs was declared player of the Match.
The awards at presentation ceremony were jointly given by Mohsin Ahmad and Tariq Ahmad both senior officials of J&K Bank, Rajouri Kadal Branch. S. Manzoor Chief Coordinator Shaheed-e-Miltat T20 Cricket Tournament was also present on the occasion.

Pertinent to mention here, two league match of first round of the Shaheed-e-Miltat T20 Cricket Tournament will be played on Thursday between Oddo Spartan v/s H.K Star and KGI Chadoora XI V/s Srinagar Gymkhana XI.
