Leh freezes at 11.4 degrees Celsius, Srinagar at Minus 2

Srinagar, Nov 22: The temperature in Kashmir division and Ladakh region, continues to dip with both Leh and Srinagar recording the coldest night of the season.
The temperature in Leh was recorded at minus 11.4 degrees Celsius last night, a decrease of over one degree from minus 10.2 degrees Celsius the previous night, an official of the MeT department said. Srinagar saw the dip to minus 2.0 degrees Celsius, down 0.3 degrees from previous night.
The MeT officials other areas like Qazigund, Kokernag, Pahalgam and Kupwara also experienced sub-zero temperatures last night.
Gulmarg recorded a low of minus 5.0 degrees Celsius, compared to minus 5.6 degrees Celsius the previous night. The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather in the valley over the next 24 hours. (KNS)
