Nov 8: Congress stages protest against demonetization

Srinagar, Nov 8 : The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee today held a strong protest demonstrations on the one year completion of demonetisation in the Country, in which Senior Party Functionaries, Legislators and Prominent Party activities participated and chanted slogans against the so called demonetization describing it as a move to hide the failure on the Part of BJP Govt at Centre.

The Protest March led by Former PCC President Peerzada Muhammad Syed started from Congress Party Headquarters Srinagar and ended up at Press Colony, Srinagar
Prior to the Protest Demonstration, Peerzada Mohd Syed and other Senior Leaders addressed the Party Workers at Congress Office and urged them to defeat the anti-people designs of the BJP PDP ruling dispensation, saying that they can go to any extent to hide failure.

Addressing the Party Workers Peerzada Muhammad Syed lashed out at Centre Govt for punishing people under the garb of demonetisation saying that BJP cannot escape the responsibility of losses caused due to demonetisation in the Country.

He blamed Centre especially Prime Minister for creating confusion, the demonetisation is a deliberate move to divert the attention of the people from the promises that were made by Narinder Modi to with the people before coming into power, Peerzada Said.

When BJP realized that they could not fulfill any of the promise, they started misleading people on every count, particularly on so called demonetisation, he said.

Speaking on the occasion Taj Mohiuddin said that people in the entire country have been pushed to wall due to demonetisation and the irony is that the BJP is celebrating it to hide it wrong policies and it’s failures.
