Srinagar, Nov 29: A ‘hardcore’ militant over ground worker (OGW) surrendered before army in Khanabal area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir, official sources said.


Sources told news agency GNS that the OGW namely Altaf Sheikh of Qaimoh Kulgam surrendered before army today.

They said the OGW was wanted by security agencies and was missing since many days.


“He was close confidante of Hizb and LeT militants. The OGW is being questioned and further investigation is going on,” the sources added. (GNS)
