Srinagar Nov 07: Social Activist and President voice of youth Rather Mehraj on Monday meets Government of India’s interlocutor Dineshwar Sharma in Srinagar.
Sharma, the former IB Chief, will be meeting around 60 delegations.
On his first day around 13 delegations, which were all non-political, met him and put forth their views.
Rather Mehraj discussed several issues related to kashmiri youth with Sharma.
He said the FIRs against minors and first time stone pelters should be withdrawn, he demanded compensation for those who got injury during uprising in kashmir.
Rather also said Govt should take some good steps and give a good plate form to youths of kashmir, youths are the builder’s of a nation some youths who have FIR in any police station couldn’t get a passport so passports should be given to them also he added.
Sharma said “Nothing has changed since I was there for the first time. Kashmiriyat, which means compassion and brotherhood, has not changed even an iota. Therefore, I am hopeful that I will be at least able to contribute towards a new Kashmir, a peaceful Valley where prosperity will be the order of the day,” he said.
