Srinagar Police recovered bikes taken away by Malaysian tourists

Srinagar,03 Nov: Police Station Kothibagh received a complaint from Faisal Nazir Mir S O Nazir Ahmad Mir R O HMT ,Srinagar running Kashmir Travelogue bike rental services that three Malaysian tourists have taken three Royal Enfield bikes from him on rent for a trip to Leh.

After a while he came to know that all the three tourists have left the country without returning back him his bikes.
On receipt of this information a car under F I R No 69/17 under section 406 R P C was registered and investigation set into motion.
After strenous efforts it was established that they had dumped the bikes at Manali. The Malaysian embassy was also contacted in this connection.
A police party was quickly despatched to Manali and the bikes were recovers.
All the three bikes were handed over to the owner.
