State, Central leadership busy with elections in Gujrat, Himachal: G A Mir
Srinagar, Nov 03: Stating that the proposed visit of AICC Policy Planning Group to Ladakh division from 10th to 13th Nov was deferred due to Elections in Gujrat & Himachal Pradesh, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G A Mir Friday said the leaders both State and Central are pre occupied in the States going to polls shortly, as a result, the proposed visit of PPG to Ladakh was deferred for some time.
“The Group which has been constituted under the Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, visited the State (Jammu, Kashmir) twice, but the Ladakh visit was scheduled this month,” Mir said.
He said the Group was to be headed by Former Union Home Minister and Senior Congress P. Chidamabaram this time, but due to Electioneering in Gujrat and Himachal Pradesh the proposed visit stands deferred for some time. (KNS)
