DIG BSF distributed awards among winner, runner up

Bandipora, Dec 24: Continuing its supports activities under Civic Action Programme in North Kashmir’s Bandipora District, the BSF sector headquarter in collaboration with district administration today organised final football match here at Government Higher Secondary school Nadihal.
The match was played between Hashmee Football Club and Iqra Football Club, which was won by Hashmee Club by 1-0 goals.
In this tournament total 12 teams of various football club of Distt. Bandipora are participating. The final match was played between Hasmee Football Club & Iqra Football Club and won by Hashmee Football club by three Goals.
The idea of this programmes is to promote goodwill and harmony between the civil population and the Security Force and also to promote growth in the remote Border areas.
Deputy Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF) sector headquarter Baramulla, K S Gunjyal was the chief guest on the occasion while as DIG BSF sector headquarter Bandipora Arvinder Singh ,senior officers of BSF and Police were present, besides heads of various sports associations, players and football fans.
Gunjyal said that BSF will conduct more such programme in future under civic Action Programmes of MHA to promote goodwill and harmony amongst Local population. (KNS)
