Srinagar, Dec 20: The staff engaged under MGNREGA on the ten o their strike and protests on Wednesday succeeded in reaching Rajbhawan and inform the governor N N Vohra for the demand of their regularization.

Reports reaching news agency GNS said that hundreds of protesters under the banner of  All J&K MGNREGA Employees Association assembled at Exhibition Ground and then started protest demonstration. The workers from across the state joined the protest program.

They said that these workers including GRS, Technical Assistants, MIS Operators are being exploited by the Government and are being provided just peanuts as salary.
